Hey there!
This was an all around exciting week in our lives.
We found out that we are going to be grandparents again! Leah and Hano are expecting. We can hardly wait to meet the new little one and see Mayla in her role as big sis! Leah and Hano are such amazing parents and we are so full of joy in seeing their family grow. Prayers are appreciated for a safe pregnancy.
Last Sunday Steve and I looked at a small house in central Tucson. We really liked the cute and cozy vibe it gave us. There are several medical centers in proximity to it as well as the main Tucson Hospital. So, we made an offer on it. The offer was accepted and we are in the process of mortgage approval, inspections, and such. We are thinking this will be a great mid-term rental property that we can list on apps like Furnished Finder (for travel nurses) or Airbnb. We will need to live in it 30 days out of the year for it to be considered our primary residence and “tax home.” We have a lot to learn, but are hoping to rent it out during the times Steve in on contract and that will help us pay the expenses some.
Tucson joined the rest of Arizona with two snow events this past week as well. We actually had some accumulation on one of the days. We really did not see that one coming. Lol.
Steve is working on getting his next contract and it looks like it might be in Colorado. Not a definite but certainly a possibility. We will keep you posted.
