Tucson Round Two… Week Ten
Hey there!
Last weekend Steve and I got to go to Douglas, AZ. We spent the day hiking the Corona Loop Trail and exploring a little bit of the area. We hiked right along the border wall for part of the trail and that was pretty cool!
We ate lunch at the Hotel Gadsden. This is a historical hotel and it was very elegant on the inside. There are rumors that the hotel is haunted too.

We enjoyed the day there and had fun exploring more of southeast Arizona.
Our tiny home was supposed to close this week so we had a walk through with our realtor on Sunday. All was as we though it would be and we were excited to close the following day.
Monday morning came and our realtor called letting us know that the title company had found the sellers are in a challenging space financially. Per legal proceeding in AZ they must get a court order authorizing or approving the sale of the property and then escrow can’t close until 14 days from the date of the court order.
So we are looking at a few more weeks until we can close, if everything goes according to plan.
This was very disappointing for Steve and me, but we are rolling with the punches.
Thanksgiving came and was pretty quiet for Steve and me. We enjoyed connecting with our families and had a small dinner (just the two of us) in Airy.

We went on a hike too.
Steve was on call from 5pm to 7am for Hospice. He didn’t get any calls thankfully so we just had a quiet evening together.
Friday was the final day of work for Steve in Tucson and we are grateful for this season. We feel we have broken in ourselves to the RV life to some degree.
We are taking the month of December off from travel nursing and will be connecting with family and friends.
If the purchase of the tiny home goes through we will also do some transitioning to it.
We are looking to spend a week with our daughters in Mexico. We leave on Tuesday and will be there through the weekend. It will be good to see them, our son-in-laws and our granddaughter Mayla.
The following week we will be in Prescott! Please reach out if you’d like to meet up with Steve and I. We will be there the 5th through the 10th.
After that we need to figure out were we will land for a week before we head to Colorado for Christmas with all of our children.
Not the December we had envisioned, but we are trusting God’s plan in all of this. Even if the purchase doesn’t go through we know He has good things in store!
SOOOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU GUYS!!!!
I am not going anywhere (that I know of) for December so hope we have some time together. Please give my regards and hugs to all those in Ensenada ,,,, looking forward to seeing photos!
Love you both ,,,,
