Tucson 3: Week 12

Hey there! 

Happy SPRING to everyone. I hope it is warming up wherever you are and that you are getting to see the spring flowers.

Steve and I spent some time at Picacho Peak and saw the wildflowers and then we got to visit the Botanical Gardens and see some more cultivated ones. It has been a lovely start to spring. 

Thank you to everyone who took a peek at the book “Thingy” last week.

I was nervous to let you all look at something I created, particularity because it is one of my first works and I have gotten more refined since.

I looked on Amazon on Wednesday and was surprised to see I was the #1 best seller in my category that day! Almost 300 copies of my book were downloaded. Incredible!

Soon I will have the books- The Little Racer, Sunny Face, and Monty the Monarch and the Invisible Butterfly ready to view! I am thankful for the space God is giving me to push into my creativity and look forward to the works yet to come!

Steve and I closed on a house on Monday. It is a small home in the Julia Keen Neighborhood in Tucson. We intend to rent it out short term to other travel nurses while Steve is on contracts. It is super cute and needed nothing done to it. We are furnishing it and Steve is working to secure a property manager to oversee it while we are gone. 

We will be in Prescott Valley next weekend to load up the moving truck! So, if you are in the area and free around 11 am, we could use the extra hands! Let us know and we will give you the details. 

Then it’s back to Tucson for Steve’s last week of work here. He is finished on the 7th and we load up and head out for Colorado.

We will be back tracking in terms of seasons, but will get to experience spring all over again Rocky Mountain style. We will be about an hour away from our son Jeremiah and will attend his graduation from The University of Colorado in Boulder. He is graduating with a degree in Engineering and a minor in Business. We are excited to be near him and plan to do a-lot of hiking! This contract is 8 weeks long, so by mid June we will be on to somewhere new.
